Packet Analyzer

The Packet Analyzer tab lets users see raw PCAP frame details within AGILITY, similar to Wireshark. This provides more detailed insights into network traffic and diagnostics.

Currently, in the AGILITY Flow Extraction view, each call flow frame shows a list of selected frame details. Depending on the protocol, this list includes some modified details not found in the raw PCAP file. The Packet Analyzer feature provides access to these raw details, giving users a complete view of network data for better analysis.

To view raw PCAP frame details:

1. Select an analysis file.

2. Select the See Details icon to view all Call Flows or Subscribers, Detected or with Failures, on the High-Level Summary cards.

3. Select a call flow from the list.

4. Select the Packet Analyzer tab.

   The tab presents the following information:

   • Display filter search for quickly locating specific fields

   • Frame number, including source and destination network elements or IP addresses when available

   • Timestamp of the frame

   • Protocol, highlighted with color-coding for quick identification

   • Frame length

   • Summary information providing an overall view of the frame

5. Choose a frame to show the full packet tree. In this section, you can search for specific fields using display filters, including attributes that AGILITY did not automatically extract.
