Enable or Disable Debug Mode for Analysis

Overview

Debug mode for analysis provides detailed information about the analysis process, including parser stages output and log files. This feature is useful for troubleshooting or debugging issues in the processing pipeline. This document explains how to enable debug mode at the application level and how to use it during analysis.

Prerequisites

  • Administrative access to the AGILITY platform

  • Appropriate permissions to modify application settings

Enable Debug Mode at Application Level

To enable the debug mode feature at the application level:

  1. Log in to the AGILITY platform as an administrator

  2. Navigate to Application Settings > Feature Enablement

  3. Locate the Debug Mode Enabled feature in the list

  4. Set the value to True using the dropdown selector

  5. Save the changes by clicking on save at the bottom of the settings section.

Using Debug Mode During Analysis

Once debug mode is enabled at the application level, users can enable debug mode for individual analyses:

Start a New Analysis with Debug Mode

  1. Navigate to the analysis section and select Start New

  2. Choose the desired output type (Analysis Hub or Intent-Based Diagnostics)

  3. Upload or select the file(s) for analysis

  4. In the analysis settings section, toggle on the Run analysis in debug mode option

  5. Complete the remaining analysis settings as required

  6. Click RUN ANALYSIS to start the analysis with debug mode enabled

Download Debug Artifacts

After the analysis is complete:

  1. View the analysis results as usual

  2. Look for the debug icon (gear icon) in the top-right corner of the analysis view

  3. Click on the debug icon to download the debug artifacts

  4. The debug artifacts will include:

    • Parser stages output

    • Log files

    • Additional diagnostic information

Limitations

  • Debug artifacts may significantly increase the size of the output files

  • Debug mode may slightly increase the processing time for analyses
