9, Select Apply.

Your query will be reflected on the dashboard.

The View Details panel will expand.

6. Select the “i” information icon to expand the row for the anomaly you're investigating.

You'll be redirected to the Anomaly Impact Details page.

Extracting Information from the Anomaly Details Page

  1. Under the Anomlay Information header at the top of the page, you'll find a synopsis of the anomaly's origin and impact.

The Anomaly Information includes:

  • The Start Date & Time column provides the start date and time the anomaly began.

  • The Cell column provides the cell site identifier.

  • The Site column provides the site ID

  • The Network Layer column provides the domain name.

  • The Duration column lists the amount of time that lapsed before anomaly recovery or the duration of time that the anomaly lasted.

  • The Class column provides the anomaly classification.

  • The RCA column provides the Root Cause Analysis for the anomaly.

  • The Detected On column provides the time at which AGILITY detected the anomaly. This detail demonstrates the latency for the amount of time it takes AGILITY to detect that there was an issue. Note that there can be a delay in receiving customer data, contributing to the latency.

The Impacted KQIS (Key Quality Indicator Scores) Chart

The Impacted Key Quality Indicator Scores (KQIS) chart provides service impact details that help users identify the severity of the anomaly.

  • The KQI Name column provides the name of the KQI extracted directly from the network data ingested by AGILITY.

  • The Impacted QoE (Quality of Experience) column provides a rating for the quality of experience that the user encountered on the indicated cell.

  • The Value column is a measurement that uses aggregated user data to quantify the impact that subscribers faced from the anomaly.

  • The Service column lists the service type.

  • The Current Impact column is a measurement that uses aggregated user data to qualify the impact that subscribers faced from the anomaly. The impact levels include Low, Medium, High, No & N/A. "No" means that there was no impact. "N/A" means that there is no data available.

  • The See Trends column allows users to visualize the service impact on a graph plotting the impacted KQI for the selected anomaly amongst normal network behavior to highlight deviations and their severity.

Service KQIS Trends

The Service KQIS Trends graph plots the impacted KQI for the selected anomaly amongst normal network behavior to highlight deviations and demonstrate their severity.

How to View the Impacted KQIs Service Trends

To view the impacted KQI service Trends graph:

  1. On the Anomaly Details page, go to the Imapcted KQIS chart.

  2. Select the graph line icon from the See Trends column.

The Service KQIS Trend graph for the selected KQI will load.

  • The KQI is plotted on the y-axis.

  • The time is plotted on the x-axis.

  • The legend provides the context for the colors used on the graph.

Normal network behavior (no anomalies) is plotted in green, the selected anomaly in red, and historical anomalies in yellow.

The Performance Management KPIS (Key Performance Indicators) Chart

The PM KPIS chart provides network-level key performance indicators to help users identify the severity of the anomaly.

  • The KPI Name column lists industry-standard network performance KPIs.

  • The KPI Value column quantifies the mathematical value of the anomaly's impact on network performance.

  • The Impact Level column qualifies the impact that the anomaly had on performance. The impact levels include Low, Medium, High, No & N/A. "No" means that there was no impact. "N/A" means that there is no data available.

  • The Importance Level column lists the numerical value determining whether an anomaly is triggered. If the value is greater than zero, network degradation has occurred and will be reflected in the RAN Metrics Trend chart.

  • The See Trends column allows users to visualize the service impact on a graph that plots the impacted PM KPI for the selected anomaly amongst normal network behavior to highlight deviations and demonstrate their severity.

RAN Metrics Trend

The RAN Metrics Trends graph plots the impacted PM KPI for the selected anomaly amongst normal network behavior to highlight deviations and demonstrate their severity.

How to View the RAN Metrics Trend Graph

To view the impacted RAN Metrics Trends graph:

  1. On the Anomaly Details page, go to the PM KPIs chart.

2. Select the graph line icon from the See Trends column.

The Service KQIS Trend graph for the selected KQI will load.

  • The PM KPI is plotted on the y-axis.

  • The time is plotted on the x-axis.

  • The legend provides the context for the colors used on the graph.

Normal network behavior (no anomalies) is plotted in green, the selected anomaly is plotted in red, and historical anomalies are plotted in yellow.

Show Auxiliary Data on the RAN Metrics Trend Graph

The Auxiliary axis provides additional contextual data that helps determine the root cause of the anomaly.

To display Auxiliary Data on the RAN Metrics Trend graph:

  1. Toggle Show Auxiliary Data to the right.

The auxiliary data will load.

FM (Fault Management) Alarms

FM Alarms are triggered for non-PM (Performance Management) KPI issues.

  • The Alarm ID column

  • The Description column

  • The Severity Level column

  • The Alarm Type column

  • The Importance column

  • The Occurrence Time column

Anomaly Correlations

The Anomaly Correlations chart displays correlations between anomalies that have common causes. The correlations are made across domains as well within the same domain. Correlations help group together issues with similar sources to expedite resolution timeframes. The anomaly chart below visualizes the fact that the anomalies at these two sites are correlated.

  • The View Details column provides users access to the Anomaly Details page for the selected anomaly.

Impacted Subscriber Group Overview

The visualizations and graphs in the Impacted Subscriber Groups Overview section of the Anonaly Details page depict the customer impacts of the anomaly.

  • The Total Number of Subscribers Impacted (VoLTE) pannel displays how the anomaly was actually impacting many VoLTE users.

  • The Total Number of Subscribers Impacted (Data) pannel displays how many data users were actually being impacted by the anomaly.

  • The Subscriber Groups Impacted pie chart displays the affected user groups (such as General, VIP, Corporate, Government, etc.)

  • The Impacted QoE (Quality of Experience) pie chart displays how the user was impacted.

  • The Applications pie chart displays the application(s) that the user was using when the anomaly occurred.

The information panel at the bottom of the page provides additional subscriber details, including:

  • The applicable Cell ID.

  • The applicable Cell Name.

  • The device's IMSI.

  • The subscriber's MSISDN.

  • The subscriber's customer Group.
