Overview

The Smart Diagnostics feature in AGILITY allows users to perform detailed network diagnostics through various pre-configured scenarios. It enables the evaluation of thousands of scenarios defined by 3GPP and ETSI while allowing users to bring their own scenarios. This feature leverages an extensive test suites of standards such as:

  • 3GPP 5G UE Test Suites

  • 3GPP LTE UE Test Suites

  • 3GPP IMS UE Test Suites

  • ETSI Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) Test Suite

  • ETSI IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) Test Suites

  • ETSI DIAMETER Test Suites

Navigating the Smart Diagnostics Feature

Accessing the Feature

To begin using the Smart Diagnostics feature, navigate to the Smart Diagnostics section from the main AGILITY pane.

Click on Smart Diagnostics

Exploring Evaluations

Within the Smart Diagnostics you are able to explore "MY Evaluations" and "Others' Evaluations". Select by clicking the Evaluation tab that’s relevant to you.

Within the Smart Diagnostics section, select "Others' Evaluations" to review previously evaluated scenarios performed by other users. This area provides insights into past test evaluation and helps identify recurring issues.

Available Scenarios

From the main interface, click "Available Scenarios" to browse a collection of diagnostic scenarios designed for different network testings. This section includes scenarios related to User Registration, Call Breakout, Call Media, Call Breakout, Call Supplementary Services, Call Setup, Network Resilience, Call Barring, and more.

Verifying VoLTE UE Registration

One of the available scenarios, "We want to verify that the VoLTE UE which sets the Algorithm parameter in the Authorization header field registers and deregisters correctly", focuses on ensuring that VoLTE UE devices register and deregister as expected, with correct algorithm parameter settings. AGILITY provides indicators for each evaluation steps ( Pass, fail and unknown). As a user you can dive into details of each step by click on the more icon.

 

To get started you can click the plus button next to OTHERS' EVALUATIONS

 

Call Flows and Network Testing

You can select scenarios for specific network testing, including:

  • Call Setup: Ensures calls are established properly.

  • Call Media: Verifies the handling of media streams during calls.

  • Call Breakout: Tests breakout procedures for calls.

  • Network Resilience: Evaluates how the network recovers from failures.

  • Call Barring: Confirms call restrictions are applied when necessary.

Searching Scenarios

To quickly find specific diagnostic scenarios, use the "Search Scenarios" field located at the top right corner of the Smart Diagnostics interface. Enter keywords related to the network function or issue you want to test.

Click the "Search Scenarios" field.
