Run Intent-Based Diagnostics
Overview
The Intent-Based Diagnostics feature in AGILITY enables users to run in-depth network diagnostics using a wide range of pre-configured testing scenarios. These scenarios are aligned with industry standards defined by 3GPP and ETSI, while also giving users the flexibility to create and execute their own custom scenarios.
The feature is powered by a comprehensive suite of standardized tests, including:
3GPP 5G, LTE, and IMS UE Test Suites
ETSI Session Initiation Protocol (SIP), IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS), and DIAMETER Test Suites
By combining standards-based coverage with user-defined scenarios, Intent-Based Diagnostics supports both common validation workflows and advanced, use-case-specific investigations.
This page walks you through:
Accessing the Intent-Based Diagnostics Feature
After completing an analysis, you can access detailed results by selecting Intent-Based Diagnostics from the navigation menu.
The page opens automatically after clicking:
Exploring Evaluations
In Intent-Based Diagnostics, open the side bar to view the available sections.
Select My Evaluations to access evaluations you have created and run.
Select Othersβ Evaluations to review scenarios previously evaluated by other users.
Click the evaluation you want to review from the list to open its details.
Selecting an EvaluationUse the filter icon to narrow down the list of tests.

Evaluation Steps and Additional Details
Only evaluations where multiple call flows are detected will be split into multiple tabs.
Multiple Call FlowsWhen present, each tab represents the evaluation of a single call flow.
Select a tab to review the results for that specific call flow.
Call Flow DetailsClick the accordion to view additional subscriber-related information.
Subscriber InfoClick the Info icon on a step to view additional information in the Call Flow Visualizer or in the Arrow to check the full Analysis in the Analysis Hub side.
Additional Info or Full Analysis accessTurn on the Failed Steps toggle to filter the view and display only the steps that failed during the evaluation.
Review the evaluation steps, which are organized into Given and Conditional sections to reflect the execution logic.
Expand any step to view additional details about its validation and results.
Navigating to the Scenario Catalog
From the Evaluations page, locate the Scenario Catalog option in the main interface.
Click Scenario Catalog to open the full catalog of available diagnostic scenarios.
Alternatively, you can access scenarios directly from the selected Evaluation details:
Browse the evaluations displayed on the page.
Click a scenario name (hyperlink) to open the corresponding scenario details.
Scenario Name HyperlinkClick on the category (hyperlink) to filter the list and narrow down the available scenarios by category.
Both methods allow you to review scenario details and select a scenario to use as the basis for a new evaluation.
The Scenario Catalog includes tests covering areas such as User Registration, Call Setup, Call Breakout, Call Media, Supplementary Services, Call Barring, Network Resilience, and more.
Refer to this page for the complete list of available scenarios: Available Scenarios
A practical use case: Verifying VoLTE UE registration
One of the available scenarios, "We want to verify that the VoLTE UE which sets the Algorithm parameter in the Authorization header field registers and deregisters correctly", is designed to validate proper VoLTE UE behavior during registration and deregistration procedures.
This scenario checks that the Algorithm parameter in the Authorization header is correctly set and handled throughout the signaling flow.
For each evaluation step, AGILITY displays a clear execution status:
Pass β the step completed successfully
Fail β the step did not meet the expected criteria
Unknown β the result could not be determined
To investigate further, you can click the accordion arrow on any step to view detailed results, signaling information, and validation outcomes.
