Configuring S3 Region for Bucket Access
Configuring S3 Region for Bucket Access
Specifying the region for your S3 bucket is considered a best practice and can help prevent issues that might arise if the provider does not automatically route you to the correct region. While optional, adding the region explicitly ensures stable connectivity and reduces latency.
To Configure S3 Region in AGILITY:
Settings > Application Settings > Autoloader
Select New or Existing Pipeline using or edit button
Select Type S3 Compatible for screen below to show up.
Update Region in Configuration:
Locate the S3 Region field in your configuration settings. Consult service provider
Enter the region identifier (e.g.,
us-east-1
,eu-central-1
, orus-ashburn-1
).
Select Save and Close to Update Config.
